Debbie Fink (Block)

Marital status: Married
Children: 4
Occupation: Custom calf raising / Western Tree Service Inc. / Mill Creek Dairy
Comment: Since the last reunion there is a few changes: I'm still custom raising baby calves for  Twin Spruce Dairy, which most of the time I have over 250 babies on bottles, which keeps me busy. Durning the summer our oldest grand son helps me.  I still do all the paperwork for our tree business, Western Tree Service Inc. which my husband runs in the Twin Cities. And then I try to keep up with the 9 grand kids, which I watch some of them durning the week. Other than that I don't get to far from the farm.

Donny Frank

Marital status: Married
Children: 3
Occupation: Owner of Bork Lumber and Steel
Comment: Well since the last reunion.....quite a few things have changed.  Our youngest son Eric got married in October 2008 and I have another daughter in law, Brittany.  She is a great addition to our family.

Our oldest child, Kari is getting married in September 2009.  Her fiance works for us at the Lumberyard as our draftsman and we are very excited about their wedding.  She is the last one, and then we will have all three of our children married.  Both Scott and Kari and Eric and Brittany bought a house this spring so it is nice to have all the kids close by.

Our middle son, Ryan is still married to Erin and they now have two children.  Raycer is now 5yrs old and Elexa is 2 1/2 yrs old.  Our grandson Raycer, started racing snowmobiles this past winter and has done rather well.  He took first place at Nationals.  We enjoy watching and cheering him on.

Vicky is still doing daycare and loving every minute of it.  She also gets to watch our grandkids.

In our spare time Vicky and I enjoy golfing with our children, riding motorcycle, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, four wheeling and playing softball.  Ok I admit it, I don't like to be bored! :)

Vicky and I are excited about the next 5 yrs and hope to have lots more grandkids.

As for me I am still working at Bork Lumber and enjoying everyday.

Comment:

Not a tremendous amount has changed since our last reunion.  Perhaps we've reached an age that we can say that is a good thing.  Paul and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary last September.  We continue to enjoy our empty nest, while our two children spread their wings and discover their independence.  Angela, our oldest completed her third year of teaching at an inner city school in Chicago.  She enjoys the Pre K age and the challenges that come with the low income population.  We're very proud of her and difference she makes in the lives of these children and families.

Ryan graduated from UofM Duluth in May with a degree in Business Management.  He worked hard during college driving truck for Paul's transportation division, and continues to love driving on weekends.  He also works in the office as a trucking dispatcher.  Niether are married, engaged, or have children, so we that means no grandchildren for now.

Paul continues to enjoy the challenges of owning several businesses in the warehousing, transportation, and imports.  Through his encouragement, several years ago, I retired from Allina as a fundraiser for hospice.  While I continue to work with several nonprofits as a volunteer, I have time to enjoy a variety of hobbies; yoga, biking, golfing, reading, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.

I regret missing this 35 year class reunion, and hope to see you all in 5 years!
